The Northwest Soirée is the college’s premiere fundraising and community recognition event at the new Heindl Center for the Performing Arts on the main campus of Northwest Mississippi Community College in Senatobia. The formal, ticketed event will highlight a performance by Batesville native country singer, Jameson Rodgers, as well as honor new community award recipients who have contributed to the legacy of excellence at Northwest.

The second class of honorees includes the following awards. Micheal Joe Cannon of Calhoun City will be receiving The Alumni Professional Achievement Award. Jameson Rodgers from Batesville will be receiving The Young Alumni Professional Achievement Award. Reedy Acres Foundation will be receiving The Outstanding Corporation Award. And finally, Jim Flanagan of DeSoto County, will be honored with the prestigious Spirit of Northwest Award.
